Catch up

Hi

I have been neglecting my blog and my loyal blog friends.

A big THANK YOU to those of you that have visited and left comments

I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

I have a lot to share with you in this post.

Since I was last here I have been working in my 'Permission to Play' Journal

and experimenting with watercolour.  A  medium that I am

not that familiar with.

Firstly I here is a couple of new pages in my journal.

I found the shape of the rabbit in the background which dictated

the theme of the double page spread.

I have also been trying my hand at watercolour.

Here are a couple of small paintings  I have completed since I my last post.

I enjoyed playing with watercolours for a change and quite

like the results.

Over the last few days I have returned to working in the 'Big Monster' colouring book

by Juliette Crane.

I have shared pages in the past but her are a couple I have recently completed
.

The first was completed in watercolour with a touch of glitter glue.

On the second I used watercolour, metallic acrylic and a touch of glitter glue.

In the back of the book there are some blank pages where you are invited

to create your own characters. So here are a couple of my own.

The first completed in coloured pencil.

The second in oil pastel and gold metallic acrylic paint.

I hope you enjoy taking a look at what I've been up too.
