A Missed Opportunity.

Hi

I have been working on an acrylic painting hoping to put it an up and coming

'open' exhibition.

Unfortunately it has to be in by this weekend and the last few days I have been

suffering with a bad cold and been unable to work on it.

However, here are some progress pic's.

The title of  the exhibition is 'Sparkling Spring' utilizing all things

metallic, shiny and sparkling hence her 'crazy' dress.

At the moment she looks like she has half a head but that is because her

hair is going to come across her face and is drawn in but does not show up in the photo.

I plan to use oil pastels and coloured pencil to enhance the features of her face

and there is more work to do on the background.

I hope you will stop by again to see her when she is finished.

Thanks for visiting.

  9. What a fabulous start to what I know will be an outstanding piece of art! Already she has personality. And I am such a sucker for shiny things so I know I will love her outfit. Looking forward to next week when you have felt better and worked on her more.
